Moving on …

I’ve been finding it interesting that we are less than a week out of the presidential election, and we are hearing less about the past election than about future improvements and reforms. Two pieces in this morning’s LA Times struck me in this regard, the first a national piece, “Voter registration process is under scrutiny: Election reformers are pushing for a ‘universal’ approach, in which the government would ensure that all eligible citizens are registered to vote.” And then a local interest story, “L.A. County election czar’s to-do list includes reforms: Registrar-recorder Dean Logan wants to replace voting machines, increase early voting locations and make voting by mail simpler.”
