EAC seeks public comment on current research projects

The EAC has issued a 30-day notice (yes, I’m a bit behind here …) for comments on four of their upcoming data collection efforts:

  1. A survey of registered voters on the feasibility of free or reduced postage for absentee ballots.
  2. Focus groups on the feasibility of free or reduced postage for absentee ballots.
  3. A study of alternative voting methods.
  4. A study of voter hotlines operated by election offices.

Details of the projects and the process for providing input are on the EAC website. I’d hope that election geeks would take a look, as this is a good opportunity to provide some input into these research projects before they are implemented.
