I watched a panel on election administration with papers by Rick Hasen, Dan Lowenstein, Ken Mayer, and acting as discussants, Bruce Cain and Bradley Smith.

I had to leave before the end, but I got a chance to watch Bruce give a pretty critical response to Rick’s paper on campaign finance reform. And I thought we were so nice at these panels!

Memo to APSA, by the way: why the heck did you stick such a good panel in the bowels of the building? The room had about 30 seats, all of which were full, and I saw a number of people walk away. And this was only those of us who could find the darn thing!
