Kentucky Attorney General releases report on improving Kentucky's electronic voting system certification

The Kentucky Attorney General issued a press release with a link to an expert report; the report recommended a series of short and long-term steps that the state is urged to take to improve the use of electronic voting systems in Kentucky. The short-term proposals include a series of procedural issues aimed at improving voting system security, as well as recommendations that Kentucky seek that vendors provide to them the same “fixes” that vendors will provide California and Florida. The long-term recommendations all essentially seek to improve Kentucky’s testing and certification process in the future.
