Nice posting, Mike! I am heading down the California Feb 2-5th, and a number of county elections officials have been courteous to be willing to meet with me and show me how they are processing the tide of absentee ballots.

I’ll try to put up a few postings and possibly pictures here during my trip.

But Mike is right–the sheer number of absentee ballots, particularly in LA County, makes it very unlikely that results will be available on Tuesday night.
