Now here is an interesting question, posed by the President of Zimbabwe:

“We do not rig elections,” he said dismissively, dressed, as is his custom, in a finely tailored suit and well-buffed shoes. “We have that sense of honesty. I cannot sleep with my conscience if I have cheated in elections.” He added, “Why should I cheat? The people are there supporting us.”

It is an interesting question, why should I cheat? In our upcoming book on election fraud, we see that there a lot of reasons why people commit fraud, and given his history in running elections, it will be interesting to see if the election is fair.
