EVOTE08 is rapidly approaching, and the preliminary program looks pretty interesting. This event is organized by our own Robert Krimmer, and both Thad and I were on the organizing committee.

The program looks quite interesting. Note the presentation in the first session by our own Thad Hall, a paper that represents a great collaboration between he and Epp Maaten on evoting in Estonia. The next session has a presentation by Caltech grad student Gabriel Katz, in which he is talking about our paper on evoting in Buenos Aires. Robert Krimmer presents in session 4.

So if you happen to be headed to Austria in early August, this sounds like the place to be between the 6th and 9th!
