Here’s a link to information about the IPSA 21st World Congress of Political Science, to be held July 12-16, 2008, in Santiago, Chile. The IPSA has a variety of “Research Committees”, and RC 10 (“Electronic Democracy”) in particular is looking for papers on “Electronic democracy and elections”, “Electronic deliberation and communication”, “Local electronic democracy”, and “Electronic democracy: dilemmas of change?”. The application deadline is November 1, 2008. I’d encourage anyone interested to contact the RC 10 chair, Norbert Kersting, and his contact information is available on the RC 10 link above.
Having just been in Santiago, I highly recommend it!
