Here is a great discussion of the situation in Bridgeport. It highlights the difficulties of hand-counting paper ballots in Connecticut, which has special challenges, because of cross-endorsements. (Check out the post-election audit reports for discussions of this problem.) Also note the little gem that reports the workers had been on the job for 40 hours straight.
