Today, the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) released a set of General Voting System Principles, as part of its work through the Voting System Assessment Project (VSAP).  Check out the press release and general background about the project here. The Voting Technology Project has assisted with VSAP, which has to be the most interesting, and potentially far-reaching, project to reassess how a local jurisdiction votes in the nation.
