The Election Assistance Commission is holding a public meeting this upcoming week in Seattle on vote counting and recounting. Here is the public notice of the meeting, with location information. The meeting will have two parts, the first getting perspective on vote counting and recounting from election officials, and the second focusing on research on vote counting and recounting.

The second session will feature presentations by Doug Chapin, and by our very own Thad Hall! Of course, we should get a first-hand report of the proceedings after the event is concluded.
